I love the elderly as much as the next person but there is a point after which they are worse than 2-year olds. At some point in ageing we lose the ability to use common sense and just do what we want and blame it on senility. But the fact is that anyone should know that when it comes to art exhibits, HANDS OFF. Not the case apparently when it comes to crossword puzzles.
A 91-year-old German woman took out a ballpoint pen and began filling out the blank spaces of a crossword puzzle hanging at Nuremberg’s Neues Museum. Unfortunately the puzzle — part of “Reading-work-piece” by avant-garde artist Arthur Koepcke — is not a part of the museum’s interactive art collection.
