I have been asked alot to explain the different Marine Corp badges and Ribbons and Insignias and what they mean and all that good stuff. For us, its almost second nature and we don’t even think about it and we just know. However, for the pubic, it seems to confuse people the differences between Enlisted (Infantry) or Officers and so on. So instead of trying to poorly explain all of it, I am going to direct you to a Wiki reference on it that seems to be fairly well done. If you have specifics, feel free to ask but I think this will answer most of your inquiries.
